About us

Hi, I'm Alena, the founder of AV Aquatics. I was born and raised in the Antelope Valley, where I took my first swim lesson at Lane Park and later joined the swim team at Quartz Hill High School. My first job was a lifeguard/swim instructor at Drytown Water Park, the first year it opened (yes, that long ago!)

Over the past 20 years, I've managed a variety of aquatic facilities, swim schools and summer camps across the country. I've recently returned home and saw a need for more accessible swim lessons for local families. That's why I've created AV Aquatics, so thank you for trusting us with your swim lesson needs!
